About GeoTwitter.NET

GeoTwitter.NET idea come out at the Microsoft MVP Summit 2008, when everybody used Twitter to find each other in the sessions, the problem was the Twitter does not have a way to add your actual location and therefore to see people around you in your timeline. Microblogging can be very useful in a conference or summit. As is almost real time blogging and collaboration. Geotwitter allows you to tag a location to your messages in Twitter and then a use a handy map to see everybody's avatars with their current location.

GeoTwitter has a GeoRSS feed that you can use with your map application, its a secure feed for you to take it to your application. There is a javascript header so you can include a map with your location, or the location of your friends on your website or blog.
